Uryuu Kamihate is a studious high schooler with one goal: get into Kyoto University's prestigious medical program. After growing up in an orphanage and losing his mother, he’s emotionally closed off and skeptical of anything spiritual. All he wants is a quiet place to study.
That’s when he’s invited to live at the Amagami Shrine, a sacred place run by the head priest Chidori Amagami. But there’s a catch—Uryuu must marry one of Chidori’s three granddaughters: Yae, Yuna, or Asahi, all shrine maidens with wildly different personalities. The marriage isn’t just about love—it’s about preserving the shrine’s legacy and spiritual lineage.
Uryuu is adamantly against the idea. He doesn’t believe in fate, romance, or divine matchmaking. Yet, as he lives alongside the sisters, he begins to confront his emotional walls, his past trauma, and the possibility that maybe—just maybe—there’s more to life than studying and solitude.
Flash-forwards hint that he will eventually marry one of the sisters, but the journey is filled with comedic chaos, tender moments, and spiritual undertones that challenge his worldview.
