High schooler Momo Ayase believes in ghosts but scoffs at aliens. Her classmate Okarun believes in aliens but not ghosts. When they challenge each other to prove their beliefs, both end up encountering the supernatural—and their lives are changed forever.

Momo gains psychic powers after a run-in with aliens. Okarun becomes cursed by a vulgar yokai called Turbo Granny, unlocking speed-based powers and a bizarre transformation. Together, they battle a chaotic mix of yokai, aliens, and curses, all while navigating their growing feelings for each other.
