Posted December 12, 2024Dec 12 Site Team If there is anything negative to say about Mononoke the Movie: The Phantom in the Rain right at the start, it is that the lack of a theatrical release for a film as beautiful as this should be criminal. Even a limited run - as limited as a single day, even - would have been grand, because very few films and even fewer anime - save for the original Mononoke - look anything like this.
