Tamura Mutsumi has joined the ‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess Season 2 voice cast as Sakura Heartlock. Together with Mutsumi, Haruka Shiraishi, who voices the main character Princess was also present at the panel to deliver the announcements.

The first season premiered in January 2024 and it has a total of 12 episodes. Studio Pine Jam animated the first season with Yoko Kanamori as the director. Kazuyuki Fudeyazu is doing the series composition. Satoshi Furuhashi and Toshiya Kono are the character designers and Masaru Yokoyama is composing the music. The cast includes:

  • Haruka Shiraishi as Princess

  • Chikahiro Kobayashi as Excalibur

  • Shizuka Ito as Torture Tortura

  • Tessho Genda as Hell-Lord

‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess is based on a manga written by Robinson Haruhara and illustrated by Hirakei. It has been serialized on the Shonen Jump+ manga website since April 2019.

Crunchyroll is streaming the anime and they describe it as follows:
As the war between the Imperial Army and Hellhorde rages on, the Princess, despite being armed with her mythical sword Excalibur, is captured and imprisoned. What kind of torture does she face at the hands of the chief demon interrogator? Fluffy fresh-baked toast! Hot, steaming ramen! Oh, the humanity! Can the Princess withstand these tormenting treats and keep her kingdom’s secrets safe?
