A trailer and key visual for Blue Box anime’s second cour were revealed during the series’ stage at Jump Festa ’25. Kana Ichinose will be joining the cast as Ayame Moriya. The trailer features the new opening theme “Saraba” by Macaroni Empitsu and the ending theme “Contrast” by TOMOO. Check out both below:
The series is currently on a one-week break for the holidays. Blue Box returns on January 2, 2025, with episode 13. Netflix is streaming the anime worldwide, one week in advance, as the first two episodes streamed together while the TV broadcasts and overseas audiences got a regular schedule.

Yuichiro Yano is the director of Blue Box while Yuki Kakihara is in charge of the series composition. Miho Tanino handles the character designs while Takashi Omama composes the music. Shinobu Isoko, Miho Tanino, Manabu Nii, and Aya Miyajima are all working as chief animation directors for the series.
