Background on Demon Slayer
The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga, created by Koyoharu Gotoge, was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020, with a total of 23 volumes.
The anime adaptation, produced by ufotable, debuted in April 2019 with a 26-episode first season. It was followed by the blockbuster Mugen Train film in 2020, which became a massive hit in Japan and helped bring global attention to anime films. Earlier this year, a revival screening of Mugen Train was held in Japanese cinemas to build excitement for the upcoming movie.
