Kaiju No. 8 fans can look forward to another opportunity to try out the upcoming game adaptation this week at Anime NYC 2025. Developed by Akatsuki Games, the title made its debut at Anime Expo 2025 in Los Angeles and will now be showcased at the East Coast convention ahead of its official release.

Kaiju No. 8 THE GAME is set to launch globally on August 31 and has already surpassed an impressive 850,000 pre-registrations worldwide. Check out the latest trailer for a sneak peek.

Fans visiting Booth #1907 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center can explore the demo and participate in various activities, such as:

  • Playable demo stations featuring cinematic kaiju battles and “Ultimate” moves.

  • Exclusive giveaways, including microfiber cloths and character stickers.

  • A photo station for creating personalized Japan Defense Force–style ID cards.

  • An LED video wall displaying trailers and gameplay footage.

Anime NYC is set to take place from August 21 to August 24, offering fans one of the final chances to check out the game before its end-of-month release.

Kaiju No. 8 manga boasts over 18 million copies printed and distributed in Japan, including digital formats, across 15 volumes. The manga concluded last month with Chapter 129. Its anime adaptation debuted in 2024 and has since gained global popularity, with the second season streaming since July 19, 2025.
