The inaugural season of the romantic comedy anime was produced by Project No. 9 and directed by Kenichi Imaizumi. Spanning a total of 12 episodes, it garnered the title of best anime for the Winter 2023 season and is available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
"The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten" anime originates from Saekisan's 2018 light novel series, featuring illustrations by Hanekoto. Initially shared on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in December, it was later picked up by SB Creative and released under the GA Bunko imprint starting June 2019. A manga adaptation, illustrated by Wan Shibata and composed by Suzu Yuki, has been serialized in Square Enix’s Manga UP! since January 2020.
