The anime series is adapted from the current manga series Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective, authored and illustrated by Akira Amano, also known for Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Before its debut, night and summer visuals were released.

The principal staff reprised their roles for the sequel, with Shota Ibata directing, Ishikawa Masakazu designing the characters, Wataru Watari overseeing the series composition, and Yo Tsuji composing the music. The voice cast features:

  • Yohei Azakami as Ron Kamonohashi

  • Junya Enoki as Totomaru “Toto” Isshiki

  • Taku Yashiro as Spitz Feier

  • Jun Fukuyama as Omito Kawasemi

  • Yoko Hikasa as Amamiya

  • Nao Toyama as Mofu Usaki

  • Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Mylo Moriarty

Shueisha publishes the manga in English on their MANGA Plus website, and Crunchyroll streams the anime. The narrative centers on Ron Kamonohashi, a brilliant individual barred from detective work due to his unconventional case-solving methods. Eventually, his expertise becomes indispensable, with the novice officer Totomaru Isshiki by his side to ensure no undue fatalities occur.
