A trailer and additional cast members for Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Disturbance (Season 2) cour 2 were unveiled during the series' panel at Jump Festa '25. The new cast includes Junichi Suwabe as Usui Uonuma, Ayumu Murase as Kamatari Honjyou, Bin Shimada as Saizuchi, and Gakuto Kajiwara as Fuji.
The trailer features the new opening theme "BURN" by yama x WurtS. Cour 2 will commence with episode 13 on January 9.
A new visual was also revealed for the second cour featuring Shishio Makoto and the 10 swords:

Yuki Komada is the director for Rurouni Kenshin Season 2, with Yoshitaka Makino serving as the assistant director. Hideyuki Kurata and Kaoru Kurosaki have reprised their roles from the previous season, managing the series composition and script. The majority of the main staff for Rurouni Kenshin Season 2 are also returning to their previous roles.
