Satoru Gojo from JUJUTSU KAISEN celebrates his birthday on December 7, and in honor of this, MAPPA has revealed a new illustration for 2024. The artwork showcases the world's mightiest sorcerer, flanked by Suguru Geto, Shoko Ieiri, Kento Nanami, and Yu Haibara. Below is the new illustration.

Satoru Gojo's popularity remains sky-high. He has clinched the top spot in both the Summer 2023 Best Male Character seasonal rankings and the 2023 Best Male Character annual rankings. Additionally, he triumphed in the official popularity poll with over 42% of the votes, out of a total of 264,298.

Gege Akutami's JUJUTSU KAISEN manga concluded its serialization on September 30, 2024, after a run of six and a half years starting in March 2018, wrapping up the narrative in 30 volumes. The final two volumes, 29 and 30, are set to be released on December 25, 2024. VIZ Media has acquired the English licensing rights for the manga.

Studio MAPPA took on the animation for both the TV anime seasons and the movie of the franchise, with Crunchyroll streaming the series. The plot revolves around Yuji Itadori, a boy with extraordinary physical prowess, who joins a school of jujutsu sorcerers following an encounter with Megumi Fushiguro, Satoru Gojo, and Sukuna Ryomen. To postpone his execution for consuming one of Sukuna's fingers, Yuji embarks on a mission to locate and consume the remaining 19 fingers of the 'greatest sorcerer in history' to eliminate him. However, their plan encounters unexpected hurdles.
