Takopi’s Original Sin anime has released a short new trailer showcasing the opening theme song “Happy Lucky Chappy” by ano, along with a full music video. The anime is set to premiere on June 28, 2025, with weekly streaming available on platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Hulu, ABEMA, and more, spanning a total of six episodes.
The opening theme “Happy Lucky Chappy” by ano was also featured in the main trailer, alongside the ending theme “Glass no Sen” by Tele. You can hear the opening song again in the latest teaser.

Background
Taizan 5 is the creator of the manga Takopi’s Original Sin (Takopi no Genzai), which was serialized on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ platform from December 2021 to March 2022, resulting in two compiled volumes. VIZ Media licensed the series in English and provided the following description:
A cute alien named Takopi lands on Earth with a mission—not to meet our leader, but to spread happiness across the universe!
Takopi’s first encounter is with Shizuka, a gloomy fourth grader. Or is she? Determined to make Shizuka happy again, Takopi uses his advanced technology to turn back time, but his well-meaning efforts spiral into chaos and tragedy.
