The Food Diary of Miss Maid – Teaser Visual

EMT Squared and Magic Bus are bringing the series to life, with Ryousuke Senbo directing. Natsuko Takahashi and Saeka Fujimoto are handling the scripts, Chiaki Abe is designing the characters, and Katsutoshi Kitagawa is in charge of the music composition.

Maeya debuted the manga on Kodansha’s Comic Days digital platform in December 2019, spanning a total of four volumes.

Kodansha USA is releasing the manga in English and describes the story as follows:

What’s a maid to do when she suddenly finds herself stuck in Japan for a year? Eat, of course! Join maid-in-training Suzume Tachibana as she explores all kinds of Japanese food, from sweet treats like taiyaki and melon bread to savory snacks like takoyaki and onigiri! But be warned—while Suzume satisfies her cravings with one delicious delight after another, you might just find yourself getting hungry too!

To celebrate the announcement of the Food Diary of Miss Maid anime adaptation, the manga creator also drew a special illustration:
