TO BE HERO X has unveiled its second trailer and key visual, announcing a worldwide release set for April 2025. The series is co-produced by Aniplex, Bilibili, and BeDream, with animation by Studio LAN and Paper Plane Animation. It serves as a sequel to the 2016 series TO BE HERO.

Li Haoling, founder of Haoliners Animation League and director of Link Click, will be directing TO BE HERO X. Hiroyuki Sawano is composing the music. The official synopsis for the series is as follows:

In this world, heroes are created by people’s trust, and the hero who gains the most trust is known as X. People’s trust can be quantified through data, and these values are reflected on everyone’s wrist. By gaining enough trust points, an ordinary person can possess superpowers and become a superhero who saves the world However, the constantly changing trust values make the path of a hero full of uncertainties…
