Brain’s Base produced the first season of the anime, which debuted in April 2021 under the direction of Masahiko Murata. Studio Drive took over for Season 2, airing from October 2022 to March 2023, with Kiyoko Sayama as the director. Season 3 is currently in production and scheduled to premiere in October. Crunchyroll is streaming the series and describes the story as follows:

An “orb” is cast to Earth with the ability to transform into anything that stimulates it and to revive after death. Initially, it changes from an orb to a rock, then a wolf, and finally a boy who knows nothing of the world. As a boy, it becomes Fushi, who learns survival skills and grows as a “person” through encounters with human kindness. However, his journey is shadowed by the destructive enemy Nokker and heartbreaking farewells with loved ones.
