Crunchyroll has declared the acquisition of North American and certain international theatrical rights for the anime movie Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK, scheduling an early 2025 release. Special 'crying screenings' have been announced for December 4, which was yesterday, and December 11. The revenue for "Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK" was reported to surpass 1 billion yen (approximately $6.65 million) at the box office as of December 5, and the opening scene was released in celebration of this milestone. Studio MAPPA is responsible for the animation, with Yuichiro Hayashi directing. The theatrical release compiles the Final Chapters specials, boasting enhanced edits and 5.1ch surround sound. The film has garnered acclaim in Japan, with numerous fans returning for multiple viewings. The television anime adaptation of Ayano Takeda and Musshu's school drama manga will air on January 7 at 1:29 a.m. on NTV, followed by BS NTV,iba TV, TV Saitama (Teama), tvk, Sun, KBS Kyoto, and AT-X, with the exception of the first episode airing at 1:35 a.m. Voice actors Kouji Yusa (Kuroshitsuji) and Youkoasa (Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka) are joining the cast as Hiromi Kichijouji and Shura Saionji, respectively.
