  6. Uryuu Kamihate is a studious high schooler with one goal: get into Kyoto University's prestigious medical program. After growing up in an orphanage and losing his mother, he’s emotionally closed off and skeptical of anything spiritual. All he wants is a quiet place to study. That’s when he’s invited to live at the Amagami Shrine, a sacred place run by the head priest Chidori Amagami. But there’s a catch—Uryuu must marry one of Chidori’s three granddaughters: Yae, Yuna, or Asahi, all shrine maidens with wildly different personalities. The marriage isn’t just about love—it’s about preserving the shrine’s legacy and spiritual lineage. Uryuu is adamantly against the idea. He doesn’t believe in fate, romance, or divine matchmaking. Yet, as he lives alongside the sisters, he begins to confront his emotional walls, his past trauma, and the possibility that maybe—just maybe—there’s more to life than studying and solitude. Flash-forwards hint that he will eventually marry one of the sisters, but the journey is filled with comedic chaos, tender moments, and spiritual undertones that challenge his worldview.

  17. The story follows a quiet, introverted high school boy who stumbles upon a diary in a hospital waiting room. It belongs to his vibrant and popular classmate, Sakura Yamauchi, who reveals through its pages that she’s suffering from a terminal pancreatic illness. Rather than retreating into despair, Sakura chooses to live her remaining days to the fullest—and she invites him to join her. As they spend time together, their bond deepens. Sakura’s zest for life begins to thaw his emotional distance, and he learns to embrace vulnerability, friendship, and the bittersweet beauty of fleeting moments. The title, while jarring, is symbolic—rooted in a Japanese belief that eating an organ might heal the same organ in your own body. It becomes a metaphor for wanting to understand, connect with, and cherish someone completely.

  24. Last month, COVER Corp. introduced a new music label for hololive production called hololive RECORDS. This marks the official establishment of hololive's music production and distribution efforts. The decision to create hololive RECORDS was driven by a desire to "carry these achievements and passion for music into the future" and to offer a platform for musical activities centered around their talents. Hololive's music has achieved significant success, with multiple songs charting on the Billboard Japan Hot 100, amassing millions of views online, and serving as theme songs for popular anime like Mori Calliope’s “Future Island” (One Piece) and “Go-Getters” (Suicide Squad ISEKAI), as well as Hoshimachi Suisei’s “I Don’t Care” (Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX). Interviews were conducted with Mori Calliope in 2023 and 2024, followed by a conversation with COVER Corp. CEO Motoaki Tanigo that same year. Hololive’s evolution has continued despite the graduations of notable talents such as Gawr Gura, Murasaki Shion, Ceres Fauna, Sakamata Chloe, Amelia Watson, and Minato Aqua. Hololive RECORDS was launched with the slogans “Music, voices, feelings – now and forever, they will be with you [translated]” and “Hololive’s music, broader, deeper, and freer [translated].” The announcement stated, “Any dream, any challenge, starts here. We’ll do everything that’s fun. A playground where ‘what I want to try’ is realized through music.” Hololive RECORDS builds on the joint label holo-n, formed in 2023 by Hololive and Universal Music Japan’s EMI Records, and follows Mori Calliope’s signing with EMI Records in 2022. According to Spotify, COVER Corp. holds the master copyright for Mori Calliope’s latest song, “Queen of the Night,” while Hololive RECORDS manages its publishing rights.
