The Japanese pop rock band Ryokuoushoku Shakai, also known as Ryokushaka, delivered a performance of "Hana ni Natte" ("Be a Flower"), the opening song for "The Apothecary Diaries," on THE FIRST TAKE. This song served as the anime's first opening theme, covering episodes 1 through 12. THE FIRST TAKE is a YouTube channel that features various artists performing songs in a single take. The channel has hosted over a hundred musicians and singers. Some of the notable performers include Kessoku Band (Bocchi the Rock!), Creepy Nuts (MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES), SPYAIR (Haikyu!!), Hiroshi Kitadani (ONE PIECE), and Queen Bee (OSHI NO KO). TOHO Animation Studio and OLM are responsible for the animation, with Norihiro Naganuma serving as the director. Crunchyroll streams the anime and has confirmed that the sequel will arrive on the platform in January 2025. Multiple new projects for the Code Geass anime series are in production, as announced at the “Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion & Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture Special Birthday Screening Event,” which also celebrated Lelouch's birthday on December 5. Additionally, a screening event for all 13 Code Geass movies has been planned, with more details forthcoming. The event included Jun Fukuyama (Lelouch), Kohei Amasaki (Rose), and producer Kojiro Taniguchi, who reminisced about the previous year's event where Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture was unveiled. Producer Taniguchi playfully chided Fukuyama for not disclosing his role in the new anime. Fukuyama humorously responded, "Remember, I never said I wasn't part of it. I only said I didn't know or wasn't involved. I never lied!" He also graciously accepted a bouquet on behalf of Lelouch as a birthday gift. Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, created by studio SUNRISE and directed by Goro Taniguchi with Ichiro Okouchi as the scriptwriter and CLAMP for the original character designs, first aired its season from October 2006 to July 2007, followed by the sequel, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2, from April 2008 to September 2008, each with 25 episodes. Studio Quad (My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog) is animating, with the release date set for January 4, 2025.   11. Attack on Titan manga Volume 2 was listed among books banned from Knox County Tennessee’s schools. According to WVLT, the schools received a list from the district of books to be removed from their libraries under Tennessee’s Age-Appropriate Materials Act, which aims to align school policies with state requirements. The policy to remove “explicit” books was voted in July, aiming to remove titles that contain nudity, descriptions or depictions of extreme violence and other forms of content deemed inappropriate for students. The artwork showcases the world's mightiest sorcerer, flanked by Suguru Geto, Shoko Ieiri, Kento Nanami, and Yu Haibara. Below is the new illustration. Satoru Gojo's popularity remains sky-high. He has clinched the top spot in both the Summer 2023 Best Male Character seasonal rankings and the 2023 Best Male Character annual rankings. Additionally, he triumphed in the official popularity poll with over 42% of the votes, out of a total of 264,298. Gege Akutami's JUJUTSU KAISEN manga concluded its serialization on September 30, 2024, after a run of six and a half years starting in March 2018, wrapping up the narrative in 30 volumes. The final two volumes, 29 and 30, are set to be released on December 25, 2024. VIZ Media has acquired the English licensing rights for the manga. Studio MAPPA took on the animation for both the TV anime seasons and the movie of the franchise, with Crunchyroll streaming the series. The plot revolves around Yuji Itadori, a boy with extraordinary physical prowess, who joins a school of jujutsu sorcerers following an encounter with Megumi Fushiguro, Satoru Gojo, and Sukuna Ryomen. To postpone his execution for consuming one of Sukuna's fingers, Yuji embarks on a mission to locate and consume the remaining 19 fingers of the 'greatest sorcerer in history' to eliminate him.   13. The official website of the "Izure Saikyou nokinjuts?" (Someday Will I Be the Greatest Alchemist?) television anime revealed two cast members and the second promotional video Friday. The anime series, which adapts Maru Kogitsune's adventure fantasy light novel, will begin airing January 8 10:00.m. on Tokyo, followed by BS11 and AT-X. It will also premiere earlier on ABEMA and d Anime on January 1. Nob Tobita (Naruto) and Kikuko Inoue (Ranma 1/2) are the cast as Papek and Mulan, respectively. Naoyuki Kuzuya (Eiyuuou, Bu wo Kiwameru Tame Tenseisu) is directing the anime at Studio Comet. Mitsutakata (Gimai Seikatsu) is handling the series composition, with Sayaka Anezaki (Touhai) in charge of the character designs. Hiroshi Nakamura (Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki no Monmon) is composing the music. ogitsune began writing the novel on the Alphais website in August 2017. AlphaPol began publishing the series with illustrations by Hitog in 2022. The 16th volume went on on May 22. Tarou Sasakama began drawing a manga adaptation on the AlphaPolis website in August 2018. seventh volume shipped on May .   14. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime has announced a special booth for the Jump Festa 2025, which will take place through December 21-22. It will be held at the Warner Bros. Encourage Films originated in Musashino, Tokyo, on August 5, 2008. It was established by former Gonzo producer Touyou Ikeda and animator/director Fumitoshi Oizaki. Ikeda assumed the roles of president and CEO, while Oizaki became the managing director. Their inaugural production was the web series Ontama! in 2009, directed by Oizaki. The studio expanded its services to include comprehensive outsourcing for other productions, some of which were directed by Oizaki at different studios. Following Ikeda's death in 2013, Oizaki stepped up as president and CEO. The studio's debut television series was Etotama in 2015, co-produced with Shirogumi. Encourage Films has frequently partnered with Diomedea, contributing to episodes of Beatless (2018) and Ahiru no Sora (2019). Kenjirou Kawando, the head of production at Diomedea, also worked as an animation producer on several Encourage Films projects. The company relocated its headquarters to Nerima in 2018.
